Technical Applications Specialist

The Technical Applications Specialist will report to the Technical Applications Manager and will be responsible for providing technical support and training customers. The position will be responsible for learning the technical aspects of the FastPack and the assays it performs. This position will be responsible for implementation and training of new customers. Training might be carried out remotely via the web video conference, telephone, or onsite at the customer location. You will be training customers in the operation of the FastPack and providing guidance regarding CLIA compliance requirements. The candidate will represent Qualigen with the highest level of professionalism and develop an on-going relationship with customers.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support and expertise
  • Documentation of complaints and inquiries
  • Product complaint testing in the laboratory
  • Training new customers on proper operation of the FastPack
  • Assisting with customer order entry
  • Participation in technical campaigns
  • Other responsibilities as assigned
  • B.S. in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or related field
Professional Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Biology, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, Chemistry, or related field
  • In depth comprehension of immunoassay principles
  • Experience working with customers directly or over the phone
  • Experience troubleshooting and solving technical issues
  • Great telephone and onscreen presence and poise
  • Hosting online Meetings e.g. Zoom, Skype
  • Basic computer skills with Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills
